Bare Necessities Journal Entry 5: I’m a Survivor

Ok, queue up the music.
For some reason that song popped into my head when I thought about how I survived the month of May. Ha!
Here’s the breakdown of how things are at the end of May and the start of June.
I expected to overdraft in May because I did not have enough in my account to cover my bills. Thanks to biking, public transportation, and a lot of help from my friends, after paying my bills I had a surplus of $6.70 before being paid on the 31st.
This month is already off to a good start with several side-job offers, 1 hire, 1 Etsy sale and enough money to pay my rent, school, credit card, and to buy some food!
It’s still going to be tight, but I gonna make it!
